Tamar Japaridze 

Tamar Japaridze is a Georgian translator and academic, winner of the Saba prize in 2016 for best translation of the year. Most recently she translated into English the satirical novel Bestseller by Beka Adamashvili (who appears in the tavern on 26 February). She has translated more than 30 books and plays from English into Georgian, including works by Shakespeare, Kipling, Pinter, Henry Miller, John Fowles, Margaret Atwood, Kazuo Ishiguro, Arundhati Roy, Irvine Welsh and Bernardine Evaristo.
